We made mummy pizza bagels -cute huh!!
This was fun, and really easy! I just schooled the boys while I made mine, and they followed. I did assist Rhoane, however.
And Adeline happily munched on pepperoni's while we worked.
Notice Sam's change of shirt...
a minor fiasco ended with both Sam and his pizza bagel face down on the floor (stupid chair). After a few tears were shed he changed his shirt and got back to business :)
This was our craft for the evening..."Skull Garland".
The older boys insisted it be in their room. Since Roo couldn't have cared less... that's were it went :)
Fun times.
I won't blog every one of our 13 nights, but I may make a recap collage of each night in pictures... at the end. Anyway, I just love this time of year. Not like you care or anything, but if you are curious... we started the 13 Nights of Halloween to extend our favorite holiday; instead of one creepy cool Halloween night...we have thirteen! Tell me what fun things you do to keep Halloween going as long as you can -I'd love to know!!!
ps...the skull garland and some of our other Halloween craft ideas came from here:
http://papercrave.com/ they have freebee templates for several different cutouts that you can print off right at home!!!

I love your ideas!! We have decided to start that tradition in our family, too (thanks to you, of course!). We're starting slow, but this is a definite keeper.
I'm with Lib...last year was our first time trying out the 13 Nights and we loved it! I love the mummy idea, it'll have to be on our to-make list. I love the garland, how did you do it? Did you do a template or what?
Let's see...today we did the candy corn cupcakes from ourbestbites.com which were a HUGE hit.
Yes! it was a template off of paper crave...I'll put the link up so people can visit. I LOVE that site!
What fun! We did something simalar, we cut out small bats and ghosts. the kids colored on them...giving them faces and things. Then we glued them to strings and made a mobile out of them. The kids love seeing them hanging. I love seeing all you do! It is inspiring!...Oh, another one we did was I cut out leaves from cardstock, then we put a little corn syrup on it and a couple of drops of food coloring. The kids could mix it and make it look like fall leaves. Then i just put them in the oven at 325' for about 5 min (more or less) to dry/harden them. Then we glued them to construction paper. It is a little messy, but pretty simple. My kids loved doing them!
How cute! What a great idea! i love this time of year too! Please make sure you do a recap of every night! I want to see all the fun things you do!
Oh it sounds like so much fun and I think I might trying doing it next year when the kids are a little older. Honestly, I'm just trying to figure out how to put their Halloween costumes together.
That is so awesome you did the mummy bagels- Cam and I plan on making some for the Halloween party we're going too! I also plan on making rolo spiders (small pretzel sticks, broken and laid out to make legs, set a rolo on top, put in oven to melt down, then top with an orange M&M), cheese pumpkins (Roll up balls of smoked cheddar cheese, use a toothpick to make ridges, and stick a thick butter pretzel, broken in half, on top to make stem)! I LOVE Halloween :) When I have kids, I may have to steal the 13 nights idea from you! ;) Definitely an awesome way to drag it out a bit!
You totally rock! That's all i've got to say about that!
I LOVE this, Coty! So cute! I'm copying the mummy pizzas sometime!
