So many things happened in February. For starters Samuel had a tonsilectomy on the 11th; these are pictures of him (at home) the morning of the surgery; at the time of the pictures, he was oblivious to the consequences of such surgery, but he pulled through it like a trooper. I was a proud proud Mama. Sam delighted in being excused from school for a full week for recovery's sake... as for me? not so much ;) a week is a long time with a kid who could have gone back three days post surgery.

Following Surgery came Valentines Day. Leif had an assignment to come up with a creative valentine box for valentine exchange day...and that he did! Look at this thing...
