Watching her garden grow...

this was my bucket garden at the beginning of summer...
sweet peppers
loose leaf lettuce
 cucumbers
roma tomatoes
i harvested the lettuce and replaced it with hot peppers.

this is my garden today...
i found these just the other morning...
pretty sweet, eh?
(ignore my morning hair, please)

speaking of my "garden growing"...I simply cannot believe that TWO of my children will be going to school (all day) this year. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't super nostalgic, and a wee bit teary at the thought of it, but it'll be good for them. They start tomorrow!!!

Here are some pics from Leif's Kindergarten Graduation (that I never posted about. Oops!)

singing "Toe-Knee-Chest-Nut-Nose-Eye Love You"

Just look at how confident my little graduate is, getting up there in front of all those scary grown-ups!
Way to go Leif!

My garden IS growing...(but no, I'm not pregnant ;)

hey your garden looks great. it's so gratifying isn't it. i just can't wait to have a big garden someday.. i'm sick of buying my produce this summer. wrote you earlier, i'll check in later.
ps. i think your morning hais looks pretty good. when i get up, mine looks like a groundhog is still sleeping in it. i need it done too. my roots are like 3 inches long i swear.

I agree! If I could ONLY look like that in the morning...sheeesh...

Yummo! I've wanted to have a garden since, well, forever. I've tried a couple of times, but it seems my black thumbs of plant death puts an end to my aspirations. I'm hoping maybe next year with a little help from Kit, maybe we can overcome my bad plant luck...hooray for fab tomatoes!!!

Woohoo - look at that amazing garden. My garden didn't happen this year, and apparently that was a good thing since the hot weather pretty much broiled everyone's garden that I know. And I want your morning hair too.

I think your morning hair is awesome too! I love your tomatoes, mine NEVER come out. sigh! However, my hubby sure did get a ton of hot peppers this year. Love your garden!
