during the excited phase...everyday.
right before bed.
and a few silly faces...
to boot.
lovin that daddy. want to be just like him.
Okay, so I'm just positive I'm not the only one who battles the cushion buildings at all hours of the day right? I know it's completely fun and exciting, but also causes mom lots of headache when attempting to chuck em' all back in their proper places (three times or more a day). Leif and Sam get a HUGE kick out of doing this and literally make up new names to call their leaning towers every time. Tonight it was the 'boinky thing' (lol, that's funny). The only bad thing is, there are not quite enough cushions for each of them to have their own 'boinky thing' so by about 20 minutes in, it becomes a wrestling match (hence the pic of the cushions all over the place) We've really got to work on sharing and fairness I think. Anyway, this was just another typical day at the Hurst household :) gotta love those BOYS.
oh yeah, the other photos are what I get half the time I try to get them to be still and let mommy take their picture...whadayado right? lol :)

I can totally relate! Our cushions become towers, badger holes, dragon dens, you name it! Our boys get psycho at bed time, too. They will literally run around in circles. It reminds me of a puppy chasing its own tail!! Cute boys!
I think thhat building is part of the DNA makeup of boys. My boys were totally into the cushions (and still are), but their forte has become tents. They pull all quilts and blankets out of the closet and tuck, pull and hang them to become a makeshift tent. Boys' paridise...Mom's nightmare. :)
Aren't boys just the best! Ty hasn't figured out the cushion thing yet, but he loves to jump on the couch and he can tear everything out of the kitchen cabinets, his room, etc. in seconds! I finally gave up on putting them away until after bedtime...especially with this big belly in the way! Best of luck to ya!
eewww! everyone ignore my stain riddled couch. No matter what I do, something always gets spilled or spit up on it??? I so should have purchased leather, sheesh.
Next item on the want list, new couch. if that doesn't work, then how do they go about those plastic cover things anyway...heehee.
