I must give praises (and brag) on behalf of my little men.
So, over the past few weeks I've been organizing, cleaning and just all around preparing for baby. We've recently purchased some (assemble yourself) items for the new baby. And I must say that Leif and Sam have been so helpful. They've held (assembly) parts in place, pretended to know how to read the instructions for mom or just sat patiently with words of encouragement until the final product was revealed. Leif's new passion (one of his many) is to assist mom in the dish doing (as long as its the 'sprayer' but hey we take what we can get right mom's) and tonight they seriously helped me clean out & wipe down the fridge, ha...amazing!!!
Anyway, in all reality it's great to feel appreciated for all the work you do and one of the best way's for someone to show it (in my opinion), is to jump in and help once and a while right? Well, I certainly feel blessed and relieved, that the boys have been on such a little helping spree. It seems the more I praise them, the more helpful they become. I just hope there aren't big jealousy issues when the newest member arrives (that might be asking for perfection though:)
I am feeling like between Jared and I, the boys might be catching on to something good here...or maybe it's all that candy I've been giving them as a reward lol (j/K).
Go Leif and Sam (and Daddy too)!!!

It is wonderful, the feeling of accomplishment when something is completed...especially when you have help! Hooray for your boys!!
I too have been on a cleaning spree! Ty still hasn't learned how to really pitch in and help me, but I look forward to the day he does! Such cute boys you have and things you will look back on when they are older. I can't believe you will have the new little one next week...I am jealous!
Good for you, Coty! There is nothing like getting ready for a little one to motivate. :) Isn't is even better when you see your little guys pitching in? It's one of my very favorite things.
I love it when all the hard work you do trying to teach your little ones a concept (like helping mommy) finally starts to sink in, ya know. That's great that they're being so helpful, I'm sure you definitely need the help! A little candy as a reward is nothing but great in my opinion (just make sure to leave some for mommy too!).
