H.O.U.S.E.

front room

Jared and I just moved into our rental home a little over a week ago and… we love it! The space is fantastic; it seriously echoed before we put the furniture in it. All the newer amenities are great as well. The gigantic bathtub is my favorite. I miss my hardwood floors but with kids, this carpet brings the noise level to a bearable decibel.
I love the neighborhood; it’s so cute and clean. We’ve yet to attend church here but are excited to go and just found out that we will be in the same ward as my cousins YIPEE!!!
I can’t wait to host our first of summer BBQ it won’t be such tight quarters now (our old house was 980 sqft total with no basement and no garage, can you imagine?)
There is a park less than a block away that the kids love, and the church is right around the corner too. The temple is a stones throw away and Jared’s schedule won’t be nearly as jam-packed as it used to be, therefore we plan to attend often.
I was so skeptical going into this whole thing honestly because as small as our old house was, I still absolutely adored its character and we’d made so many memories there. I just had the worst time parting with it. But now that we are here and getting settled in I realize that this too will bring great things for our family, and will allow Jared much more time at home with us in the evenings (a luxury we’ve been without our entire married life).
I’m excited to embark on this new adventure and am anxious to make more memories here with our three little tots.

Love it! Yes, I'm on the computer all the time. How do you keep it so clean??? I know what you mean about missing your little house. We lived in a trailer the first seven years of our marriage and I hated parting with it -- I mean it was just a trailer but we had made it our own and we had so many memories there....you'll make more though and that's what pictures are for.

Yea for more space! I am so ready to have a bigger place! It looks very nice and my favorite thing is the big bathtub! How exciting to be making new memories in this house! Did you move to the city? Hope everything is getting settled smoothly.

Beautiful house! I always hate moving to a new house. Caleb and I have moved every year of our marriage except one. I never want to leave my old house for a new one, but within the first few days I love the new house too. I have learned it is the memories I love about a house and not just the house itself.

Looks great! It is hard to move, but change is good. It won't take long before it feels like home again. So 3 is not so fun?? I'm going to take notes on what works well...

Hey Coty,
Your house is so nice it looks brand new! I love your washer and dryer those look like fun to use.... am I really saying that???(lol) I hope that you are getting settled and moved in okay! I know you will be able to make lots of friends in your new ward.
p.s. I can understand the small space thing one bedroom for 3 people is not exactly roomy!
love ya Aimee
