me(big time cheesing and perspiring, with gum in my mouth), and graham colton
i wasn't going to post this but jared was sorely disappointed when he didn't see it up. he's been asking me for days and days...(it's not that i'm not appreciative, just that the pics are grainy and really don't do it justice. and i like to keep the blog mostly about the chillins' and our family events...).
anyway, sweet jared knows i love Jewel, and the company that jared works for had invited her for a private concert (the employees could bring a guest or five). so anyway, of course i loved it; it was soft, romantic and personal. Jewel told us a bit about her life, which just made me love her more. graham colton was quite the treat too, they both sound fabulous live! it was wonderful to get away, just jared and i. this was like jared and i's second time going out(kid free) since "roo the MOOSE" was born. having said that, i suppose this is bloggable material, it may be a while before we are kid free again. lol. oh, and the food was delish too!

hey,
thanks for the tip, I actually started drinking fruit smoothies for breakfast a couple of days ago before I read that post but thanks for telling me about that particular smoothie, I will give it a try. I actually stopped exercising for a while because the treadmill at my complex broke down. But, I've been running around a park now instead (which I love so much more) for a week now, hopefully I will have some results soon.
Mmmm, what a fantastic night. I am glad you blogged about it. It will be nice for you to look back on. Some of my very favorite memories and dates with Phillip are when we've gone to concerts. I l.o.v.e. Keith Urban, so Phillip and I were able to go before Ella was born. It was such a treat and sooooo worth it. Good times, good times.
Also, let's not forget how darn cute you are in those pics!!
oh steph you are too kind...i hate my plastic, weird hair. seriously, what was i thinking???
I agree with stephanie, you are so cute in those pictures, and I love your hair. Really I do. You are being way too hard on yourself.
That concert sounds so great! I love Jewel too. Glad you blogged about it.
When Kendal and I saw Carrie Underwood, we had the hardest time getting good pictures! Now I wish I'd just put the camera down and enjoyed the show. I love Jewel and her music. It is great to have time together, alone, once in a while. Marc and I have always taken our kids almost everywhere and haven't been that good at "alone time." Our idea of a date night was always watching a rented video after the kids fell asleep, lol! We really need to go out more often though. Thanks for the inspiration!
