this past saturday the weather was beautiful so the boys and i headed to the state fair...it was a smashing good time. we got a bracelet for the kids so they could ride all the kiddie rides in the kid park. there were a few that i rode with them...sam was just shy of "tall enough" to ride by himself, so i got to tag along ;) rhoane was an angel baby the whole time and even slept for a good hour out of the almost four that we were there, pretty good little chap wouldn't ya say?

this was the favorite ride...sam sang us the "thomas the tank engine" song the whole time we were in line...
oh me? well, i was only there for the food...

i truly love this time of year and all the festivities. we've got a few more up our sleeve and i'm really excited that leif and sam are finally old enough to really enjoy all the festivals mom likes to drag them to lol. who doesn't love the fair though, seriously.

I always get nostalgic during this time of year. It really is the best!
Fairs are the best. What a great way to spend the day. Rides are fun as a kid, but as an adult I really love watching kids giggle and squeal with delight on carnival rides. I am not sure which is more fun.
Seriously, who doesn't love a good fair?! So fun. The boys' biker faces are my favorite! Classic!
