it's great to be a mom. it's great to be in love. even better to BARTER (that's a better word, i like it). and fantastic to own our home.
.
i'm off to burn my esophagus and check out jared's butt while he hangs the blinds {i'm only good for moral support. didn't you know, i'm blind-hanging challenged?}
.
(i know. drill/chocolate ..doesn't seem an even trade does it? remember, i got house.)

It's amazing how many tools they suddenly 'need' for stuff around the house! This is how I get my husband to hang blinds and curtain rods and stuff like that for me - I start to do it myself and he knows I am drill-challenged so he takes over. Works for me. ;)
not a dull moment at your house. Mmmm! Hot Chocolate!
livin in a world of cell phone convos!!! how funny... btw I am so happy for your new home!!! cant wait to see photos of the finished projects and stuff!!! congrats
Sorry I didnt know my husband started a blog for his company & I am on his computer. its Jess but you probably know that! :)
Loved it!!! What a good idea...bartering...what can I barter for? I'm so excited for your house! I wish I was hanging (and yes, it would be me hanging them) in a house of my own. I do believe I'm getting jealous! :) I can't wait to see pics of the inside!
I remember hanging the blinds in my house. It was fun....in an odd sort of way. Some hot chocolate would have been a nice touch. I will have to remember that for next time. I can't wait to see the pictures of the finished product.
you're a funny funny girl Coty Hurst. hmm...be glad it was a drill and not a circular saw (Brent barter's on a daily basis). the tool purchases will only get bigger and more expensive with your new purchase. poor thing. gotta love it.
Again, you crack me up. Love the post.
I just caught up on some of your post. Congrats on your new house. Totatlly cute! LOVE IT!
I love your style of blogging - anytime I need a pick-me-up I read your blog.
