I've always wondered about roasting chestnuts. Never done it before. I'll have to give it a whirl this season. :)
I guess I should try it too. Do you have to do anything fancy? I know that's probably a dumb question, but I've never tried it.
Andrea, I bought my chestnuts in a plastic container in the produce section of our local wal mart; the instructions were posted on the underneath side of the label. they are a no brainer...and mine still over-cooked, go figure!
Oh Coty, how you have grown up. I wish I could come visit you and your kids. Next time Don comes to Stillwater I think I buy me a plane ticket also. What a fun house. Where is it located? Thinking of you. Janie
ummm, i can just smell em'!
btw---chirstmas shopping was worse than a disaster...do my kids hate me? lol. love ya
I don't know that I have ever smelled chestnuts roasting either conventional or open fired. Sounds like a great idea. I will have to give it a try.
thanks Coty. I'll have to give it a whirl.
