So, when i was a newly-wed and everything was fun and worth noting...ahem, i can remember dividing the laundry into three distinct piles:
lights
darks
whites
now that i'm a seasoned wife/mother of three, there is officially a 4th pile:
the "once whites"
now, you may be asking yourself why I hang on to these "once whites"...
well, when the pack of twelve white socks i bought the boys two weeks ago has already made it to the "once whites" pile, then it becomes a question of frugality ..and the ability to reason with ones self...
"well, they'll be wearing their shoes anyway...no one's gonna see"
(oh, the realist in me)
is it just me?

haha, it's not just you! I may need to impliment the 4th pile into my laundry routin. My husband finds is slightly annoying when his socks do not match in whiteness (newness)! Too funny.
Not just you. The funny thing is that I was just thinking about this the other day while leaning over a pile of laundry. LOL. And you're right no one will see them, unless they are like my kids who seem to take their shoes off EVERYWHERE they go.
LOL! LOL! LOL!
I hear you! And-I agree...who sees!
I also had to comment on your dumpling post. Cute and looked yummy! Isn't it crazy how things never work out when you make your mil's recipes?! I guess mamma is always supposed to be best...hmmm...
Ok so I totally understand this problem. My sock issue is that Lil won't wear them. The other day she went to school without socks and came home with them on. The teacher took her to the nurse's office for FREE socks, talk about humiliation. Confessions of a SAHM :)
The dumplings look great, you should send me the recipe.
Hey Courtney,
Thanks for your email. I will send you the recipe for sure. My mom will be in town this weekend so I'll likely send it on Sunday.
We'll chat again soon!
