accent love...

okay, so there were a lot of typos in that last post.
sheesh, you'd never guess i'm a mother of three with not a minute to spare for spell check...
oh well, my misspellings (and grammar) are besides the point -check this out:



an old stagecoach trunk i found at a "hole in the wall" antique shop.
with a little elbow grease and decoupage, it'll be perfect for storing my vintage quilts, eh...

my mom has one and I love how plain they look only to open them up to beautiful colors and design. what a treasure!

I love it! It is interesting to think about what lovely lady once owned it and perhaps stored her quilts in it. Way to go on the three columns!

umm..excuse me...don't i get first details on these types of things:) love it. would be super cute at the foot of a bed, or as a coffee table. it is the perfect color and type of wood to rub down with brown shoe polish...gives it and old matte look...super pretty.
ps. i'll write later and send more pics. busy life these past couple days. sick kids, messy house, and everything else that's no fun. love ya
