valentine's day found us...

sleeping in until 9:00am (what? yup. nine a.m.)

9:15 am -exchanging V-cards... jared's (to me) was store bought and simply puurrr-fect. mine (to jared) was homemade (go me). it was felt with a button sewn in the middle and some stitched letters proclaiming my love ...on the back it read: I "felt" the earth move under my feet the moment i saw you... (don't think i didn't sing the song too..."i feel the earth.move.undermyfeet...la la la la la la la" whatever the words are?!)
the boys got some hearts and goodies, too.

9:30am -whipping up an artery clogging breakfast

10:00am -running to Lowe's for paint supplies, yyyeeeaaahhh---does anyone else go to Lowe's like i go to Lowe's? i mean hours in every aisle? well, that's what i usually do anyway. today i sat in the car *shrug*.

11:00am to 10:00pm is a little hazy. lots of kisses, lots of running, gobs of brownies and some more valentine creating and delivering to the "other grandma" next door... have i told you about her yet? no? well, she deserves a post all her own -"she's fantastic" ..is all you need to know right now. somewhere in there was some sleeping, eating m&ms, painting, building of lincoln log cabins, laughing, and dining-out (sorta).

ahhhh, valentines day with kids. romantic? of course! and when the kids are a-snooze in their beds...well...

ahem,

happy valentine's day!!!

glad your valentine's day was swell. The three columns looks good, I suppose my email may have been a smid-git too late, but it seems your computer didn't get drop-kicked :)

Glad you figured out the three columns on your blog. Glad you had a FABULOUS Valentine's Day. I'm laughing at the line about V-day with kids. I had the same thoughts myself. :)
OH, and I have to agree, Lowe's is an AWESOME place to go. I always wish I had more money to spend there.

Gotta love fabulous, romantic holidays with the kids. We did that for our anniversary this last year. There's something particularly romantic about being surrounded by all your little love creations, lol.
