I love the fall time too!!! Fun project for the kids…trace a leaves on white paper, cute out then you put a little bit of corn syrup in the middle put 2 drops of food coloring and let them smear with there fingers…there you have your own fall time leaves you can hang on your frig. (I put the paper in the oven at 250 for a few min, then the corn syrup is not sticky.) I also trace the leaves a little bigger on colored construction paper and glue the corn syrup leave on to the construction paper for a border!…We did this today the kids love getting sticky!
i love this time of year more than any other. i love the cool crisp fall air, the leaves turning bright reds, yellows, oranges; i love the harvest and all the yummy things you can make because of that. i love that the night comes a little sooner so the kids don't wonder why it is still light outside when it is bedtime! i love fall smells, spices, pumpkins, etc... yum. i love it all. to prepare for winter i bottled peaches, and did freezer corn. a lot of work, but satisfying when you are finished! can't wait to see the pics.
Isn't fall time just grand ?? I've been making apple butter and pumpkin bread and been spending LOTS of time outside :) It's wonderful. Just wonderful.
I'm loving the weather too - especially being preggers, the cooler weather is such a relief. I bet your house looks super cute and autumn-y, I'm slowly getting my decorations up. And now I want to make pumpkin bread. That sounds really good with Eggplant parmigiana doesn't it? A perfect complement to a perfect autumn meal. Yummm.
Oh this post makes me so happy!! I always say that my favorite Holiday is October 1st even though it's not really a holiday at all! I just feel like it starts the very best time of the year ever! I can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful boys and REALLy can't wait till you have your precious little princess! We really need to get together sometime seeing as how we live so close to each other! Maybe lunch sometime or something
This is totally my favorite season! I love the food for one, pumpkin never tastes the same other times of the year and I love the snuggles when it's chilly with the kids and Blake and the colors!
there's nothing left to say in this comment that i haven't said in the 400 emails i've written this week, but i felt like should join in the fall fun...
"my" fav...fall festivals and hot apple cider with mulling spice. uuuummm. i think i have to go have a cup right now (no mind that it's still 80 degrees out at 11:00pm. whatever)!
yay! yay! yay! fall!!! I'm so excited for the cooler weather and bright leaves that it's not even funny! I've had my house all decorated for weeks now (silly, I know ;), although I still need to go break out the pumpkins. I'm toying with the idea of making a fun fall ribbon wreath...we'll see if it actually happens.
Oh, and my fav thing about fall? The fun soups I get to make...how random is that? lol
Uggh! Please send the fall weather my way!!!! I'm dying here!!!
I adore fall! I love the crisp air, the scents the underlying excitement...ahhh!
Love this post! And yummo to the pumpkin bread!!
Mmmm, Autumn is full of spice, crackling, colorful leaves, family, holidays, baking and crafts. It has been so fun pulling out my fall decor!! I bet your house looks amazing...pictures, please!!
Fall is my favorite, too Coty! And won't you LOVE the fall in NY??? See you soon!
I love being able to sit outside with my children and husband and enjoy the crisp air! However, it is still 100 degrees here, so I am still patiently waiting for fall to get here! I am so jealous that you are already experiencing it! Have fun decorating and that bread looks delicious!!
Fall isby far my favortie time of year...although I always seem ready for each new season. I love that it cools down at night..although here in Reno it was 91 yesterday so it doesn't feel like fall yet. Iwanted to put up my fall leaves the first of September, but it seemed silly with it being in the ninetys! But some leaves have started changing and those pumpkins are coming out today! Your pumpkin bread looks yummy!
