missing my best-y

Jared's gone for a business trip to Elmira, NY...and I am missing him terribly.
I put the chillun's to bed early, thinking I'd exhaust myself with housework etc. to while away the hours until sleep overtakes me...but so far, no such luck. dinner dishes are still in the sink and i am waiting on my next phone call from the hubs -to report his whereabouts and safety precautions. so far, the calls have been coming in every 20 minutes...like clockwork. i love it. and hate it. because it means that he's still so far away...

i love love. and being in love with my best friend in the whole world. and he's hot. icing on the cake, baby ;)

until his safe return...i'll be missing my best-y...

and the phone is ringing.

good-bye ;)

Oh, how I feel your pain and longing for your hubby! I am cherishing every second of the week I have with my hubby! Then it back to longing and phone calls for 2 whole months! I hope your time apart passes quickly:)

You are so cute Coty! It makes me realise that I have gotten used to not having my husband around. He is gone for 24 hours and then home for 24. It used to be so hard on me, but got easier as time went on. Thank you for sharing and helping to soften my heart again.

Ahhh, I'm sorry! Having hubby away is no fun at all! At least he's staying well-connected! Knowing Spence he'd leave for a week and I'd hear from him once [insert eye roll here].

And I can say that it doesn't get any easier! The fun thing is now I sometimes get to go with him!!!
You are looking good.

Ahhh...I don't love it when Kit goes, but then...sometimes completely alone time after the beasties are in bed does me well. AND, the homecoming can be so FAB!!!

Sorry for your missing, though.
